Black Coli, how do your parents feel about the n-word?

I’m curious, neither of my parents use it and my Dad hates the word with a passion, he uses “joker” instead. Part of why I tend not to use it in real life and reserve it for my e-thuggery(jk but only slightly).

I think they're pretty ambivalent. I'm sure my father has used it, but he prefers "motherfukka"

pops said it semi frequently. Its very generational. black folks that gre up in the 50s hated that word.

My parents are pretty old school 50s babies.

Its actually an interesting point since my pops always seems to either skirt around saying nikka or I just never noticed...

My moms barely uses profanity anyway so if she ever did the whole damn family would be talking about it like oh shhhhhiii

My father never said it and definitely forbade it. My mother has used it at times; I'm about the same and that's strictly among my friends whom I grew up with. Neither my parents or my kids have ever heard me say it as far as I know. I really don't cuss much anyways, though.

My pop will use it every once and awhile.

I don’t say it around my parents, or any elder to be honest. I really don’t use the word at all. If I use it, it’s around other black ppl.

Never used it. Have no family members who use it. Even my most vulgar family member an uncle, doesn't use it for problack reasons.
