What made u come back ?

A few other's asked in this thread, and really didn't want to go into detail, but here goes.

I won't say why I became an atheist, but from the years 06' 08' I was one. Which was extremely weird at first because I grew up in the church was in the choir and was raised like most Black children in the south, to believe in GOD, knew no other way . Hell I even said my prayers every night up until then.
Well when my aunt died of cancer, me and a friend were talking about my atheist situation. I told her quote " only way I would believe in GOD was if my aunt herself came back and told me there was a GOD.
I basically forgot about the conversation.
About 6 months later I had this dream. My aunt was in it. It was a dream, but it felt soooo real, I could literally feel my aunts presence, I could feel hurt arms around me.
I don't remember all what she said to me, but I remember these words specifically " Tameka Jesus loves you" she was crying , I was crying, I woke up crying. I've never had a dream feel more real. I've been a believer every since.

Depends on how complex the belief is..
Possibly, but I'd imagine they'd be too abstract to be fruitfully compared with the linguistically derived constructs we use to define belief. Honestly I don't know that much about babies minds, gonna do some research and see what's up.

False. Saying the evidence is conditional, isn't evidence.

False.

Science is a method to derive consistency and validity of claims through experimentation and peer review.

The reason you can't get the type of girl you want is because you probably go around saying this type of shyt to women.

I hop the fence between agnosticism and Pantheism, but honestly atheists are one of the most annoying types of people.
They proselytize their 'superior logic' all day long, but want to get all butthurt when someone even so much as mentions the word 'faith'

You'll be surprised how intelligent a baby is out of the womb. It's all evolutionary survival techniques.

What people fail to realize is, is that religion and true spirituality is a very personal experience, to each his/her own. Thanks for sharing.:obama:

Time is a measurement, but time itself doesn't exist as an entity.

I know what 'time' is, I'm in a Mechanical Engineering degree program, and you just destroyed your own criticism.

That could be your subconscious manifesting itself into your dreams. Like if your were muslim instead of "Tameka, Jesus loves you" it would of been "Tameka, Mohammed loves you". It's like those lil white kids that have near death experiences and say they went to heaven. They ask them how Jesus looks and they say he was white and had long black hair aka the white jesus. Not to minimize your experience but there are explanations to why stuff like this happens.
