Cop should have used some discernment and trailed him back to the dealership, which according to the article was less than a mile away

Or he could have just shown them the paper :manny:

You refuse their request to see the paper, then have the nerve to try to dictate to them how to deal with the situation?

Then he refuses to exit the vehicle on the cops' request.....depending on the area, that in itself can get you in cuffs

When keeping it real goes wrong :smh:

I don't know anything about that. The South remains roughly 25 years behind the rest of the country.

But in the heavens up north we always hear about police brutality cases every damn year.

Police departments in FL know not to get too reckless cause whenever that happens in FL many cops come up... missing :jawalrus:

I used to live there.... nice place to live with a great diversity of all ethnicities. ?.. but he aint about to win nothin or get out of them charges...... should have let them see the papers..... but since he didn't  ......

Some cats believe they must be rebels 24/7. Not every fight needs to be fought.

he didn't have to let them search the car, they didn't have probable cause. and 2 when they went back to the dealer that should have been the end of it. Their are bigger issues here 1) Racism 2) Nazi Germany

These "cops" these days are unknowingly being conditioned and in the future this place imo will be like Nazi Germany where you have to "show your papers". Some of you need to wake up and see the bigger picture. The police are here for us. This was harrassment

nikkas gon nig

just show the goddamn paper dumb ass

That wasn't even his biggest fukk-up, IMO

He should have AT LEAST exited the vehicle

Cops might not have had the right to search the vehicle in that incident but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to step out when they tell you to

"I don't feel comfortable"?

When i lived there, Gwinett was a place i didnt want to get pulled over.

:patrice: but you know what, when i really think about it, I didnt want to get pulled over anywhere in the Atlanta area. You couldnt joke around with those officers. They didnt find much funny.

Its so demonic, friend.

This is true..... Dekalb police are way worse than Gwinnett....

The World, but from BK
yeah, like some others said- dude coulda just shown him the papers then what he told the officer woulda made sense and he coulda possibly avoided the altercation. There was no point in being defiant.

Ive only been pulled over for speeding in Gwinnett. Twice i believe.Once near Doraville area and once while heading to this african honey's place in LilBurn.

Whereas in Cobb you could drive down Cobb parkway any night and see shyt loads of cars being pulled over AND SEARCHED. Black, latino, asian or white. Sometimes i think they just stop any X random number of cars. Thus why I refer to it as the Police State of Cob county

Ive had my car searched in Roswell. Police in and around atlanta go above and beyond.

Yeah thats one thing always been weird to me about Atlanta area. For some reason they always feel the need to search your car. Thank God they've never dont it to me but i've seen it done many many times. Usually they just stop me and either give me a ticket or let me go.

My driving record since moving to GA :sadbron:

So basically, you're saying that even though the officer was not only in the wrong for pulling him over, but also requesting to search his vehicle, the brother should have just simply complied when it was obvious his rights were being violated?

Why should he have stepped out of the vehicle....There was no indication that he was carrying a weapon or under the influence.

So again, why should he have stepped out of the car
