TYRONE GA!
Longshoreman is another lucrative job. “The Port” of any city had good positions you can move up in.

Got a lotta potnas and fam that are Longshoremen in the hometown (Charleston SC). Dem nikkaz make good bread too.

Back in the day I literally called every body-shop in my city until one of them took me on breh, black, white, Arab it didn’t matter.
I put my ego aside and made those calls.

This was when I dabbled in auto body. I’m in transportation now though but it was almost the same shyt.

Edit/ I misquoted you breh and jacked up the edit
Looool. What’s transportation? Like CDL or city bus driver?

That's why I'm not going into trades now. Already 32, will be 36 by the time I'm a journeyman. I'm on a decent path right now
How the hell you talk about being in trades but you're not doing it?

You're not the messenger for this message breh :heh:

My dad was a longshoreman. My homeboy is one as well. I know he gets at least $130k a year.

the internet
frfr unless a breh has a passion for something or plans on coding getting a trade right after highschool is probably the best path.

gives you a fall back for the rest of your life
and youll know how to work

that work ethic can transfer to everything else in your life

its how avg white folks outside of the cities make it.
they make their money in trades and the driven ones put that money into investments or start their own business.

I was just talking to a couple white dudes and they were telling me how they had shop class in highschool...
...low key had me kinda upset because I never seen a shop class in the city.

Manual labor classes should be a priority in lower income urban areas

Checkout any Class 1 railroad careers section. Most times they hire you with zero experience. Conductors pull in 6 figures easy, don’t even talk about what an engineer (driver) makes
:whew:
What made u get in this field? I feel nowadays, black men are turning into faux women, who work in air conditioned offices and gossip. Rarely hear these jobs anymore, just “get more education”.
