Clarence Avant ain't no singer breh . He is the OG of Black music.

You're right my bad.. I knew he was in the music business. And honestly I think he might still be a resident of Beverly Hills which is its own city and not Los Angeles

They should just vote for the black dem off rip they crazy trusting a cac. But when you start blaming a group of people they get reactionary and defensive. These liberal news outlets have to stop shytting on black men if they want cooperation in their efforts.

Black women can complain all they want but black men have been trending away from Democrats for years now.

2008 (95 percent voted for Barack)
2012 (87 percent voted for Barack)
2016 (82 percent voted for Hillary)
2020 (79 percent voted for Biden)

You can dismiss and ignore a group of people for so long before they eventually seek an alternative.

Also respectfully this talking down to black men and calling them misogynistic, ignorant, etc is not the wave at all. It’s demeaning, emasculating and a form of mental abuse.

It’s clear most black men aren’t comfortable with who the Democratic Party chooses as their face or representation so something has to give.
It’s almost like the black church. Black men walked away from that, as well, when they felt things were getting out of hand, out of order, and didn’t feel represented.

I have a real bad feeling about Georgia.

Yeah I upgrade my post but a minus 16 over 12 years has broader implications in Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Karen Bass does not have a history of doing things for Black People in LA.

Maxine Waters has done way more for Black People than Karen Bass.

People are going to blame Snoop Dogg if Karen Bass loses :snoop:
I'm reading the thread waiting for one of these shills to post anything significant she's done for black men...but they seem to just want to guilt us to vote for her. I already know the lead-up to the midterms is going to be just like this...it's going to be open season on black male voters.

This. It's clear as day yet they (these people that love to talk down black men) will do everything they can to ignore it. Either they really hate black men, think that low of them (still hate really), or don't understand them.

EXCERPT from column
==================

Some were like Willie, who told me he used to vote regularly, but stopped because he doesn’t believe a politician — any politician — can solve his problems.

“You can work and your wife can or your child can work. The dogs can work. The rats and the roaches even working, and you still cannot afford to stay in a studio apartment in South Los Angeles,” he told me, taking a break from selling used DVDs and books out of his minivan.

He continued, his voice rising: “And when was the last time you heard a politician say Black man? When they think of the Black community, think of Black women or Black children, they don’t really think of us.”

Willie ran through a list of government assistance programs, from tax credits to food benefits for infants, arguing that they primarily benefit women. Meanwhile, single Black men are disproportionately homeless and politicians “don’t care.” This is why, he speculated, that Black men vote differently than Black women.

“But that’s OK,” he spat, shaking his head in resigned anger

This man selling used DVDs and books out of a van and wonder he struggling to live in LA. Who the fukk watching DVDs nowadays :mjlol:
He talking about income tax child credit if he had a kid and worked a job and met the income requirements you can get that same tax credit. He talking about food stamps have a child that you got custody of and met the income requirements. You’ll qualify that too. You asking for government assistance for single black men but single black women not qualifying for the child tax credit and food stamps. Sound like he just wanna live on section 8 and collect welfare. I guarantee if that white man wins his situation won’t change one bit. They gonna tell him pull up his boot strap and keep pushing. The tough on crime stuff is just more money to put more black people in jail.
