The owner of a Black-owned children's bookstore in Raleigh, North Carolina, said she is closing its doors less than a year after it opened because of violent threats.

The store, called Liberation Station Bookstore, was the first of its kind in the community, owner Victoria Scott-Miller wrote in an Instagram post announcing that it is shuttering its first and only retail location.

That's the problem and what black people in that area are fighting for now. Why should they relocate from an area that THEY lived in long before cacs started gentrifying. That area was predominantly black and cacs moving in from out of town threatening a children's bookstore that was built for the children that were there long before they brought their white racist asses there.

Yeah don't blame her. I'm sure she fought back as best as she could but you need help. That shyt woulda never happened to the bookstore around my way though... as soon as word spread the armed groups that frequent the store woulda been on post.

Sad story. The opening of her store coincides with politicians using Diversity, CRT, Black History as scapegoats. Redneck and losers acting on their cues, will be redneck and losers.
They can take over school boards and force through laws that limit what school and public libraries can carry, but not an independent bookstore.
