What was the offer for him?

The thing in the States is the damn disproportionately between plea deals and sentences if found guilty (ie. plea you get 7, lose you'll get 30) like wtf

In Canada you get caught with say a brick and the case aint looking good, your lawyer might be like the deal is 3.5, if you lose, we're losing at 6. Or "they got you on attempted murder and if we lose you're getting between 12-14, they're offering aggravated assault and they'll agree to 8".

I remember my lawyer couldn't do my case during one period of time cause he was scheduled for a 2 month gang trial very similar to this. When it was my turn I asked him how it went, he said his client plead (and he's a very vigorous lawyer where pleading is the last resort and he missed out on 2 months worth of money). I'm like "wtf for?", he's like "he was 100% gonna lose with what they had on the wiretaps, had he lost he was gonna easily get double". I think he plead to 5-6 years.

Like that shyt is reasonable, wtf you guys have going on there is beyond ridiculous
Max wouldda been out in 2014/15

Them Lo Lifes...
just like I said @HDKG_ ... he plead to something that equals the 7 ...

put it still doesn't say if time serve in included
If he got this kind of deal, yeah.

D.A. usually allows the time in jail to be included with plea deals.

Kinda fukked up to make to one serve time from start of your sentence instead of day of incarceration.

A fourth defendant who was facing more charges, Santino (Cueno) Broderick, was offered a 15 year deal. He was overheard telling his lawyer, "Fifteen? Dang. My life is over."

"You want 80 or you want 15," his lawyer Kevin Canfield told him, referring to how much time the 23-year-old could face if convicted at trial. Broderick turned down the deal, and will stand trial next week.

Yup... I mean we can't confirm this 100%, but reading between the lines that was my perception of those events as well.

Listen to his Taxstone episode a while back. He alluded to it. He suggested he take a plea where he'll still be able to come out and have a career and take care of his family. But he wanted to fight it.

Ahhhh ok

Makes absolutely no sense to me though since players in EVERY sport have double digit jersey numbers

Always figured it was a reference to football scores

Edit: and actually that urban dictionary definition you posted mentions football scores as well
Football numbers slang started in the mid to late 90s. The term is about football JERSEY NUMBERS not the scores.

When they were giving dope dealers big awkward ass numbers like 44 years, 38 years, 56 years...

You'd say damn they giving boys football numbers because you generally see those HIGH numbers on football jerseys.
It's not about the scores.

it was about the score... nobody cared about the jersey numbers and besides QB and punters always had low numbers.. back in the 90s sentences where 15-25, 15-30, 7-10 ... the scores when pronounced sounded similar to sentences

seven to ten .. fifteen to thirty .. etc

Man I'm gonna try to help you with this ONE MORE TIME...

In football which players make up the bulk of the team???

The linemen...

If you look up the numbers if the linemen there always BIG ASS numbers...

Thats what football numbers mean...
They were giving boys FOOTBALL NUMBERS 7-10 ain't football numbers you'll see that cat in maybe 5 years...

Football numbers is when they give a cat 42 years, meaning he's GONE...

You our partner gets 28 years they gave him a football number...

This ain't no 10-15 shyt...

This is BIG NUMBERS...

Two of his GS9 co-defendants, Chad (Rowdy Rebel) Marshall, 24, and Nicholas (Montana Flea) McCoy, 21, also took the same deal after loudly debating it with their lawyers in the courtroom for about 20 minutes.

"It's seven years, seven years," one of them was heard saying as all three were shaking their heads.

McCoy's lawyer, Leslie Jones Thomas, told the group, "You won't have a future if you don't take it. Don't throw your life away."

A fourth defendant who was facing more charges, Santino (Cueno) Broderick, was offered a 15 year deal. He was overheard telling his lawyer, "Fifteen? Dang. My life is over."

Bobby Shmurda’s Brooklyn roots led to rise and fall of his career

something to think about : with those names (and them being from the 90s) i guessing all these dudes are West Indian

bet their parents working long hours/multiple jobs and paying their kids no mind..should have sent those kids to the islands to learn some discipline or fukking pay attention to what their doing so they don't get involved in gangs.
