Max wouldda been out in 2014/15What was the offer for him?
The thing in the States is the damn disproportionately between plea deals and sentences if found guilty (ie. plea you get 7, lose you'll get 30) like wtf
In Canada you get caught with say a brick and the case aint looking good, your lawyer might be like the deal is 3.5, if you lose, we're losing at 6. Or "they got you on attempted murder and if we lose you're getting between 12-14, they're offering aggravated assault and they'll agree to 8".
I remember my lawyer couldn't do my case during one period of time cause he was scheduled for a 2 month gang trial very similar to this. When it was my turn I asked him how it went, he said his client plead (and he's a very vigorous lawyer where pleading is the last resort and he missed out on 2 months worth of money). I'm like "wtf for?", he's like "he was 100% gonna lose with what they had on the wiretaps, had he lost he was gonna easily get double". I think he plead to 5-6 years.
Like that shyt is reasonable, wtf you guys have going on there is beyond ridiculous
He thought he was innocent they got him on a phone call

Who the hell was his lawyer?
