look at rap content objectively and rappers.

they rap about death and violence all day but then some topics are untouchable. that's not logical

either it's all wrong or it's all allowable. i don't agree with what he said it was stupid but trying to cancel him is ridiculous

that's bullying. like Dave said it's a fallacy to say you wanted to be treated like everyone else then cry when you are. gay people are not out of bounds and shouldn't be this taboo topic.
Just cause we're apathetic to the bullshyt rappers spew about us, doesn't mean other groups should be are going to be.

Sorry, but I don't agree with this. You can't expect people to be fine with an "outsider" disparaging them like that. That's not logical.

Accountability isn't "cancelling."

People want to be treated the same in terms of respect and humanity. Nobody wants to be disrespected. And people have every right to push back against that shyt. Dave Chappelle is a comedian, and while I believe there should be no limits on comedy, we're not talking about that here.

My daughter a g, she saw me kill a nikka in front of her before the age of 2

I wonder if this was the line that boohooman heard and thought to themself “we have to sign this righteous young black man”

Don't ever confuse the agenda to rapmusic standards.....

They probably saw how his community didn't have a problem with it/agreed that it was self defense and thought "if they don't have a problem with it, why should we"

If someone was behaving like a fool for the amusement of others, how would you respond to them throwing a pie in your face?

This should be the point where many realise that they're not laughing with us, they're laughing at us.

The problems with violence and degradation in hip hop has been talked about enough. You always have people talking about how the beat slaps, how they don't give a fukk about how people are wearing tin foil hats when they talk about the people funding the poison.

Now we are in a situation where some idiots still can't connect the dots. Pointing the finger at a double standard when the reality of the matter is we should have demanded respect decades ago.

It’s acceptable to rap about killing your own people but if you make a comment about gays you get cancelled :francis:

well yes. Don’t y’all get it? Same folk will listen to a whole album of a cat talking about killing other black men, slutting out black women, encouraging disrespectful behaviour....it’s all good. Nbombs? No problem. But if it’s directed at groups outside of that then there’s a problem.

we need a cleansing in hip hop or stop it from being used to identify black culture. It is damaging in the wrong hands.
