What’s up with MPJ’s back? :lupe: I missed parts of the game dealing with fam stuff before I just decided to cut it off because it was clear it wasn’t the Nuggets’ night.

MPJ tweaked his back in game 1, but they said he could go in game 2 and he literally couldn’t move laterally because of his back. He was slow and in total pain and you could see it. It was why he was targeted by Chris paul in game 2 because he couldn’t keep up. Then need to sit MPJ next game.

They got no hope then. No one else can score for them

this is why I have been saying they need an actually system instead of Jokic/Murray ball. I still say the motion offense would work wonders for this team but we’ll be stuck with Malone’s sorry allergic to X’s and O’s Ass for at least two more seasons.

:wow: Just want to reiterate how incredible CP3 is

I was lucky enough to have gotten to watch play live in person before he retires

he basically has no wasted motions, his handles are fast as fukk and he gets to his spots in the midrange fast as hell:whew:

Amazing how much the Suns improved over one season
They were good when Ayton came back with Rubio at PG. At least on Memphis level. They brought in Jae to start at PF, replaced Saric to a depth. Moved Rubio for CP3 and that's a contender squad.

Do you remember the motion offense the team ran before it was all in on Jokic ball? The offense was fukking insane and yet it has somehow regressed tactically every season. We've finally hit the point where Denver runs a 2K Park offense where you live and die by one OP player. Reggie fukking Miller of all people were one of the first to point out how BAD the offense has gotten for Denver

He tweaked his back in game 1 and should not have been playing tonight period. Even the biggest Nugget homer knows this season is playing with house money because of the injuries. Doing anything to risk MPJ going into next year is beyond reckless. I get Malone not wanting to be swept but MPJ was looking like Anti-Vax Wilson Chandler out there

yeah, but that was because Malone had Chris Finch basically running the offense. The current offense is so basic and lacks imagination and creativity. Malone is a defensive coach that discounts the offensive side of the ball even when the team is getting stops but can’t score he screams that the defense was at fault like scoring in the early hundreds is a lot in the nba today. If they get swept he needs to be on the hot seat period.

I agree. I hadn’t heard that he tweaked his back. He should sit if he’s injured. I’ll take the sweep if it means maintaining his health. It was always going to be an uphill battle after Murray went down. My hopes for a title this year went out the window when that happened.

Cam Payne, Mikal Bridges, and Cam Johnson have also continued to develop. They've made a switch from lottery busts to above average role players with chips on their shoulders.

It's absolutely a travesty. And I'm a Knicks fan. Thibs just raises your floor. Monty actually raised the sun's ceiling. Crazy. I don't understand how he lost that vote. Only thing I can post it to is NYK bias amongst media.

Thibodeau received 43 first-place votes and earned 351 total points to edge Phoenix head coach Monty Williams, who finished in second place with 340 points (45 first-place votes). The 11-point difference between the first- and second-place finishers marks the smallest margin since the current NBA Coach of the Year voting format was introduced in the 2002-03 season.

Knicks had no business being this good this year. Plus the Suns had CP3 & an previous all-star with Booker.
