Suns in 5. Paul and Booker are gonna take smarter shots and not shoot themselves out the game. I also think they will defend better. Ayton is not Nurkic. He's gonna make Jokic work and also defend on the other end. You ever notice how Jokic doesn't get tired at the end of games? it's becasue he controls the tempo, dicates the pace. You have to make him make faster decisions. Make him score the ball quicker than he wants to.

Keys to this series. Suns win if
1. Ayton can defend Jokic without fouling
2. Cp3 can give you at least 20 min a game making timely decisions.
Well see how Gordon does on Booker. I can see him doing a decent Job

Ayton doesn't get the headlines but his peers respect him

Ayton has come a long way defensively really quickly. I remember Jokic dropped a 30 point triple double on him without missing a shot early in his rookie year.

Went from that to one of the better big defenders in the league.

Ayton can be an excellent defender when he's focused....You just know he's going to take a game or two off, tho. That's the pattern with him.Look great for a week, totally aloof the next.He seems to relish playing against Jokic, tho.Read somewhere that he's averaging 25 & 14 in his last 6 games against the Nuggets.Probably his best stats against any team in the league. We'll see if it continues tonight and the rest of the series.

Suns in 6. Jokic gonna do his thing but hopefully Ayton contains him somewhat. Tall ask for Ayton cause Joker is playing possessed right now.

Murray used to torch us though so Nuggets gonna miss him but we've never seen this version of MPJ either so we'll see.

As long as CP3 can remain a threat offensively (snake through the lane + hit those mid range/floaters) and just keep us from stupid decisions, we should be good.

Look out for Austin Rivers.Suns have always had a knack for letting overly aggressive combo guards go off.Monte Morris, to..And I know people see MPJ as a scorer, but he can be a terror on boards.I'm expecting him to give the Suns a lot of problems on the offensive glass. They'll have to put a body on him.

This is the series everyone going to be focused on Ayton. Like the other poster said this dude will look like a fukking beast on both sides for 3 games, then not do shyt for a whole week. One of the weirdest players in the league lol.

Exactly. I don't wanna hear about the Lakers or Aaron rodgers. That's all you hear on sports talk radio. This is gonna be a good series.
Problem with all the mainstream sports shows is they can’t market and talk about anything unless it’s “player A vs. player B.” They either don’t have anybody capable of actually breaking down strategy/X’s & O’s, or they don’t let them get enough shine.

Instead it’s just “star player from the losing team didn’t step up enough”
