Def hit or miss. You might get some shyt like The Outsiders series, Shawshank or Shining if you wanna go way back. But then you might get a Pet Sementary movie (new one) that was forgettable or a Salem's Lot which was goofy as hell.

I heard that Castle Rock or whatever show was decent tho but it just got canceled.

Tryna finish up Red Country quick so I can get into the new trilogy from Joe Abercrombie. I got the rest of the Dune series to read after the first one.

Do not read the entirety of Dune


Read up until the original author died (Chapterhouse Dune, 6th book)


His son took over after that and basically turned it into a basic ass Hollywood movie action script.


I'm warning you now :hubie:

I loved the first season of castle rock but didn’t catch anymore after. S1 E7 is one of the best standalone episodes of television I’ve seen, sissy spacek crushed it

Does anyone else have ADHD and end up reading like 4 different books at once? I'm thinking of cracking open my folio society edition of rendezvous with Rama :facepalm:


speaking of which -- does anyone own any folio society books?

I have the first 'A song of ice and fire' book, LOTR series, Dune & Dune 2, Dominion by Tom Holland, Relativity by Einstein

Idk what book you on but I guarantee there's still a ton of GOAT pull-ups you haven't gotten to yet


I can probably guess where you started to slow down because of the way they switch characters around every book, but trust me they payoff is crazy :banderas:

I think somewhere during Reaper's Gale :manny: I'm just gonna restart from Gardens of the Moon. Aint finna pretend I can remember everything with a lore that dense.

:whew: so many of them nikkas ascended to being dogs I might have to reread for that hype again

Only book that consistently gave me goosebumps when nikkas pulled up to squabble
