not being an elitist or anything but that's one of the main reasons I stepped away from regular gyms and ventured into specialized (i.e kickboxing, boxing , crossfit gyms) and it is worth the price premium because people are really trying to get right men and women and any type of interaction that might lead to going out on a date or any interaction outside the gym is truly incidental and not the main purpose for members of those specialized gyms.

There are some men and women who frequent regular gyms and all about putting some work in in terms of their fitness but you see way too much stunting and picture taking at regular gyms. Dudes who were hoarding weights, machines etc... because they were more interested in the social aspect and chatting around too much or trying to get in a location where they can see women. Women taking stupid mirror pictures after not even doing a tenth of a set for social media
