Honestly, saying you want a man that loves you like you love him and not just thinks you're "okay" is a nicer way of saying you want a man that worships the ground you walk on.



So if your friend told you he loved his gf and she said she liked him in return, you'd say it was dumb for him to break up with her?

If they don't share future goals together like marriage that's one thing, but to say "get you a man that likes you more than you like him" is terrible advice.

Where did she say she needs a man to like her more? Maybe she wants someone that feels as strongly about her as she does about them? There's no rule that says you must stay in relationship with someone who doesn't feel the same about you. I have no clue why you would have a problem with a woman breaking up with a man for that reason. I guess you think women should just accept anything.
