Yes and no. The vaccine reduces the time one is likely to shed the virus, so on a community scale you are correct. On an interpersonal level, it make no difference as the people in your home and work life will still be in close contact with you within the shortened window contagion. What people fail to realize is due to the "Leaky" nature of the vaccine, if everyone were vaccinated we'd end up with a situation like Marek's disease in chickens. So it's only good to vaccinate the most vulnerable, not en masse.
Please tell me more about this "leaky" nature.
Perhaps you could link me to a source that was able to prove that the vaccines were leaky.
I expect to see a journal that proves that the t cell epitopes are different amongst the different variants
