Y'all act like it just Google doing this on their own. Its the record company's that are making then do this. If they don't do it who you think the record company's gonna go after :what:.
It dam sure won't be the streamer. They gonna look at Google like  you better stop this shyt or we're gonna sue you to kingdom come so they really don't have a choice. The record companies and some of these sensitive ass singers need to stop being butt hurt that someone is using their songs while streaming. Hell they should be flattered. Watch the same thing is going to happen to hitbox when they become popular.

People will keep on moving to something new like we always do with something involving the music industry.

I think a lot of us was just hoping Twitch would of put of more of a fight.. Twitch has been popular years and obviously this change is more because of the new ownership from Google.

If anyone was going to fix things a lot of people were hoping it would be Twitch. They were big enough to stand infront of congress and be like "hey, if anything, the 30k people watching this specific league of legends player is hearing a new brand of music and maybe theyll like it and support it, if not its not like they are going to rip the song from the stream cause the guy/girl is talking all over it and they can go play it as many times as they want on youtube already anyway, so basically fukk off, cause this isnt effecting yall in anyway shape or form" but instead twitch just said :yeshrug: fukk it, give us a billion and we out :manny:

Thats where a lot of these issues come from I believe

VODs are how I view most (90%) of my streams on Twitch.tv. I usually only watch live streams of CS:GO, Quake & FGC tournaments because I don't want who wins to be spoiled for me. I also dislike watching live streams because I like to skip past people's breaks/ gaps in the tournament (weeklys) etc.

I realized it was getting bad when I was having trouble uploading videos from music concerts. However, that was years ago. I don't upload anything to YouTube anymore. I barely watch videos, just straight up download them for later.
