Unless dude signed off on letting the Giants, NFL, or ESPN access his medical records (and as dumb as these dudes are and as shytty as their union is this is not outside the realm of possibility)

JPP won't need to worry about money because those HIPPA violations are going to pay out rather nicely

Yep figured as much...

Pretty much have to with all the trades and signing players do and then somebody inside the organization has to take a look at their medical records...

On the one hand it's pretty shytty that somebody leaked this info...

On the other hand I don't think he was going to show up to sign his franchise tag and hide the fact that he was missing a finger...

The fact that the NFL has that rule really makes it :wow: that they played dumb to the concussion thing for so long

I would think it would be pretty standard for a professional athlete to have to give his club/league access to his medical records.:yeshrug: Adam Schefter and ESPN though...:patrice:

Linemen have basically lost fingers in game and played with their hands wrapped like a club. Devastating but not necessarily a career ender
