when i think "fight for the US" i think getting on a boat to go shoot and get shot at by various brown people who ive never seen before and i dont have a problem with

i was watchin one of those world war 1 documentaries about how british and germans would have the christmas truces, and it really hit me how these conflicts are people killing each other who never met each other or had any beef

I ain't mad at the idea. I feel obligated to vote cause as blacks our fore fathers and mothers fought for the right and sacrificed A lot for it.
Now after saying that I say this... I haven't voted since 2012. I don't trust these politicians at all and politicians and the political climate is the main reason people don't vote. They see no one they can trust so why waste the time. The extremes both parties go through to get their party's way is frustrating. These fukkers don't care about the people.
So I see what Obama is doing with this idea. Trying to lessen the impact of big money backers and putting people more towards the forefront

I have a cynical view on voting and figured my vote doesn't really matter especially with the electoral college system we have.:yeshrug: Seeing as how Bush became president even tho a majority of the country didn't vote for him.

I don't if making voting manditory would be an ideal solution but I do get the thinking and understand where dudes is coming from. These younger generations are not invested in the political process. We especially need to have a much bigger voice in local voting.

Well while i'm not American, America is where i rest my head at night so i have vested interest in its well being. However dont confuse my vested interest with delusional patriotism. I can't and will not support some of the sh!t politicians and other forces in this country stand for.

Instead of making it mandatory just make it easier.

Give us the day off.

Let us vote anywhere.

Remove the electoral college.

Remove the (D) or (R) next to the candidates.

^^THIS on a hundred thousand trillion

What the hell is the point of the electoral college anyway?

Bu bu bu everyone's vote counts:sadbron:

1

Dude should have never even set foot in that oval office:camby:
