Felt bad somewhat for him too, but at some point the onus is (was) on him to speak up about his fukkery-booking. Unless he's just as oblivious and actually thought all these re-starts would help him

It's like they don't really understand why fans "respect" the occasional use of blood. A blood capsule is entirely missing the point and could actually do even more damage to Roman's reputation.

It's not just about colour, although that's a big part of the immediate impact, but the respect element comes from seeing just how COMMITTED to the performance the wrestlers are, like seeing a ridiculous bump or a heel allowing himself to be publicly embarrassed... we don't need blade jobs every week or even every PPV, but these are supposed to be some tough SOBs, they can take a razor cut to the forehead once in a while. Obviously there are hygiene things to think about (looks over at Pentagon Jnr licking his fingers ) , but wrestlers have lost CRAZY blood and been fine (I'm thinkin' Eddie Guerrero, even Johnny Mundo at LU: Ultima if it was a genuine blade job)
