I love all the people acting indignant over the claim that, as a live performer, bey > mj.

It’s an argument based on subjective criteria, and completely valid, no matter how much you want to throw a trantrum over it.

Mike spent the last 15 or so years living as a walking punchline, and was subjected to the cruelest jokes. Now he is this unquestioned “goat”, whom nobody can compare. Kinda like white conservatives pretending to love mlk after he’s been dead for decades.

Just goes to show you that people only love ya when you’re gone, and tend to appreciate you a lot more when you’re in the dirt.

She's not Mike but that was a very "Mike-like" performance last night. It was Mike-like because for all her accomplishments, fame, fortune, family, etc.. she still went out and performed like she hadn't made it yet, like she was hungry as fukk. That is very very very rare for any artist big or small. Yeah that was a big stage ensemble and money behind it but still, its very hard to get a amazing or lets even say a good performance from A list talent. It was like she was an athlete out there. It was an athletic performance. Who can do all those dance routines and then sing live on the mic like Whitney Houston. I don't have not one of her albums but damn I was impressed
