I can tell none of you loud nikkas actually watched the performance smh y'all want black greatness and don't appreciate until its long and gone what Beyonce did last night was legendary stop being bothered because she's "not your cup of tea" and give credit where it's due, there's nobody man or woman who is doing what she is doing right now

such negative ass people here

You're reducing black greatness to a Beyoncé performance....That's our real problem right there.

People have differing opinions.Just because they don't align with yours, it's "negative?"

How pompous is that?

OH, MY GOD!!!! JANET JACKSON IS DE...oh. Never mind.

(Be a grown-ass man stanning for Beyonce, brehs.)

And her music doesnt really move me but im not a young feminist so why would it.

I'm a young feminist, and Beyonce's music makes me want to shove hot coals up my own ass.

Beyonce might be the GOAT female dancer.

In what universe is Beyonce the GOAT female dancer?

But did any of y'all watch the set last night? If the answer is no you're all making fools out of yourselves tryna be contrarians

I watched 50 seconds before I started losing brain cells. That counts, dammit.

Bro, Janet wrote the #1 hit Black Cat...by herself.

And was only about 23 when she did it. The VAST majority of Janet's catalog is primarily Janet, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

Singing wise it's Whitney to me. :yeshrug:

Bey might be the goat performer tho:picard:

She is the greatest performer of our generation. Of all time I'd have to say a split between MJ or Prince with Beyonce some where after. It's crazy the lengths dudes are going in here just not to give Bey her props.

No i didnt :lolbron:

I generally avoid anything with beyonce in it tbh. I got sick of seeing her face back in 03. :whoa:

I just dont like the goddess status she has. We were taught not to make gods of humans if you know what i mean. And her music doesnt really move me but im not a young feminist so why would it. I dont respec5t the jewish circles she runs with too.

So you don't like her because other people put her on a pedestal not her but because of her status
but your last post you undermined her talent/voice I can understand not liking her music or subject matter that's understandable but to call her voice subpar when you don't even watch her live performances (saying you avoided her since 2003 when she's improved to operatic vocals at this stage in her career) completely invalidates your point

See your problem is just seeing it as a Beyonce performance all those beautiful black dancers and musicians men and women alike up there how can you not see black greatness in that. Is it because Beyonce is at the forefront?

Having a difference of opinion is fine that's not what I'm saying you don't have to like Beyonce at all but people are deliberately sitting here saying she's not that great/ undermining her talent without even seeing the performance or any of her recent ones at that

She has the clout to be in the conversation. There's third world countries that know Michael Jackson lyrics, Beyonce ain't there yet.

Because she's a woman, I don't think she'll ever be there. That's just life.
