That’s zany af breh :mjlol: bytch crying you being affectionate to a goddamn dog lmao.

Relationships ain’t it smh
To be fair, we don't really have issues like this on a regular basis. I wouldn't swear off relationships cause of this one instance of women being batshyt insane. :lolbron:

U answered your own question dude.
I didn't think it was an issue past the initial discussion we had about it. :yeshrug:

OP..

Try to be a lil more affectionate with your lady. She told you what she wants, so make steps in giving her what she wants.

You will always be who you are, but strive to become a lil more flexible in order to minimize bs and maximize a consistently healthy relationship.

That goes for anyone & everyone including myself.
I really do try breh, but (ironically) when I try it's like trying to make a dog meow like a cat. I'm just not wired like that to be overly affectionate in the sense that she seems to be suggesting.

How’s her relationship with her father ?
:patrice:

How was your relationships with your parents ?
:jbhmm:

They are Nigerian, so she respects her father and caters to him a lot and in return he seems to spoil her. But she is a good chick so I think she deserves it..

I'm cool with both my parents, though as an adult I can't spend too much time around my mother.

Feel like there’s more context that isn’t being shared because she sounds wild. Unless you’re that unemotional which honestly I don’t see a problem in a sense that she’s w you knowing you are the way you are so she shouldn’t try to change you. I can be affectionate but these girls don’t really like that shyt op I’m gonna keep it a buck they thrive off aloof, emotionally unavailable men. The moment you start to truly open up they’ll shyt on it seen it time and time again. I would just brush it off, although the you want me to treat u like a bytch was pretty cold line that’s some shyt I’d say to a broad im not afraid to lose.
I think that might be what set her off now that I think about it, but I really didn't mean it like that. :whoa:

I was just trying to show her the irony of what she was asking for.

I would bet dollars to donuts she is on her period :mjlol:

The emotional irrational outbursts will have you :what:
I think it's about that time of the month too, breh. But this one is definitely up there in being the craziest shyt I've ever seen a woman get angry about. :russ:

WTF :dead:

I never in my life heard a Black man talk to an animal or child in that goofy ass tone women and cacs use to talk to pets and kids!
It's not the exact tone in how they do it, but more like "come here baby girl, let me rub your stomach, did you miss me?" type shyt. Black men can be affectionate towards animals too, breh.

I think that you missed the point. She’s not wanting you to talk to her as a dog, she’s wanting you to take the care that you talk to the dog. I’m a dog owner myself, so I know that I’m more gentle with my dog, and I’ve had mensay that they wish they could be the dog because of the way that I treat my pets. Just some food for thought.

Well, let me frame my perspective like this.

I love my dog, but I don't view my dog the same way I view a grown adult woman.

It's not the same level of respect there, which is why the concept of me treating her the way I treat my dog is kinda weird to me.

But I get what you're saying.

I got a dog and grew up having dogs---

I'm not saying none of that shyt to a animal
And never heard a Black male say shyt like that---

But to each their own---

So last night I was on the phone with my girl, talking after work.

My dog, a female Toxirn, came to my room and I spoke to her like how most people speak to their pets.

Very affectionate, like a little child basically. Innocent enough, right?

Well apparently not, because my girl got pissed at this and told me she wishes I would speak to her like I speak to my dog. :dahell:

A breh was fukking flabbergasted and I asked her “So you want me to speak to you like an actual bytch? :what:

This made her even more upset and she went off on a rant talking about how I show my dog more affection than her and she literally started crying on the phone :wtf:

Now I will admit I’m not the most affectionate dude out there.

I’m not really an openly emotional, touchy-feely type of dude. But at the same time I definitely show that I care through my actions.

So I told my parents about what happened and my Dad took my side, while my mother took my girlfriend’s side and can totally understand why my girl would want to be spoken to like a dog. :deadrose:

I don’t think this little problem is a threat to our relationship, so far she seems to be a pretty good catch.

We rarely if ever argue about anything, but I just want some feedback from some of the older brehs/brehettes on this shyt because I still can’t wrap my mind around this shyt. :heh:
Poor dog he probably why the wife is starting beef with him :russ:

Dogs show unconditional love far more than humans.

It’s a female dog which, in my honest opinion, is half the reason why my girl is pissed.

I thought they got along.

Whenever my girl comes over, my dog will sit in her lap, not mine.

Her ears perk up whenever she hears my girl on the phone and my girl is always asking if we can take her to the dog park.
