Brehs, correct me if I'm wrong but did Pippen's game have any weakness?

Dirk is 50-40-90 club. 6th all time scoring list. Iconic unguardable go-to move.

25ppg in the playoffs with every defensive gameplan focused on stopping him.

But you think Pippen is a better scorer? :mjlol:
Yes not a better shooter a better scorer.

I realize that but when I say better shooter I mean more range for example steve kerr was a better shooter then pippen but did not have great scoring ability.
How does Pippen have "great scoring ability" :leostare:

In his lone playoff run without Jordan, he averaged 22ppg on less than 44% shooting.

Yet he's a better scorer than Dirk :leostare:

Dirk is a better 3pt shooter, FT shooter, mid range shooter, and post up player than Pippen. Even though Dirk's post-ups usually result in fadeaway jumpers, he still hits them at a better clip than Pippen hit anything.

So really the only argument you can make on offense that Pippen did better than Dirk is slashing to the rim and finishing. Which you can say about any perimer player over a 7 footer...

Pippen was a good all around player who gets highly overrated. He could not score at an elite level either, was a below average ft & jump shooter and froze up in crunch time

Kobe,Jordan,Curry,Durant can score at elite levels not scottie pippen

This is what I came in to say. He had a decent midrange though. A pull-up bank shot, but other than that.....

I already said that his numbers dont support the argument as pippen was a highly unselfish player he also essentially played pg for the bulls but watching the two players I feel like pippen had better overall scoring ability.

In the ocean where the sharks be at
Been watching pip since '90. He was never an elite scorer, doubt he could be a number one guy on a championship squad but when you need a key rebound, assist, block or some lockdown defense .. he was always on bidness.

He made all the plays you'd want a superstar to make except consistently come thru wit those backbreaking buckets you need in those crunch time moments.

Elite number 2

I think Pippen was a better defender than Leonard in his prime. He was one of the top 5 defenders of all time second only to Rodman and he was a better defender than Mike.
