Brehs, correct me if I'm wrong but did Pippen's game have any weakness?

Pippen wasn't better than either. Dirk is a proven 1st option on a championship team. Pippen is a second option and even if you say KG isn't the guy to lead you to a ring as a 1st option, he's a better second option than Pippen.

Its a shame these retards forget how great PRIME kg was because they weren't old enough to see him in Minnesota playing with scrubs all the time

mvp and dpoy....how many can say they've done that? not Pip.

I think his d was overrated. He wasn't shutting down his peers like that. Duncan, Dirk, Webber, Mailman, Reef, Blazers Sheed, Cyber Toine all did what they want against him.

His teams weren't really that shytty. His most successful team was Sammy (who had a good season) & Sprewell waaaaay past his prime. He had solid teams of vets and solid contributors that should've been better than they were.

What about those quotes was untrue?

Scottie Pippen was never that good of a shooter. He had a decent mid-range J. He used to use the glass a lot. But he's a career 70% free throw and 32.6% 3 point shooter.

The NBA wasn't so reliant on the 3 during these days...So what if they use the glass that's irrelevant....Anyone who puts up 22 a night is a good scorer flat out. Especially in the time frame he did it in....He was an extremely well rounds player..

He was an above average shooter from inside the 3pt line also.

His speed :manny:
He wasnt an offensive powerhouse but he he had solid numbers and was consistent

His defense was his always the highlight of his strengths, played both ends of the floor effectively
What Jordan was to offense, Scott was in Defense just all time elite levels

Definitely wasn't a 3 point threat I dunno where the fukk that came from

Remember after Mj retired Phil gave the game winning shot to kukoc instead of pippen and then he refused to step on the court

:lolbron:

Pippen was never a number 1 no matter what, pretty good robin though

Rather than a weakness, he didn't really have a signature/dominant strength as a scorer and wasn't elite in that area. Better suited to be a #2 than #1.
