Brehs, correct me if I'm wrong but did Pippen's game have any weakness?

Breh I ain't gonna sit here and shyt on Khawi cuz he's my favorite player or ask if you even seen Scottie play live. Idk why we gotta shyt on legends to big up the new rising stars around here. Scottie Pippen is the goat Robin to the goat Batman. When he got his chance to step up and lead the team he had a dominant near MVP year carrying a depleted Bulls team.

He could do everything on that court at a high level the fact that it was just said that he couldn't score at a high level is crazy to me.

Khawi is a savage and has next we know this but we don't need 20 pages of acting like Scottie Pippen isn't the defnition of point forward and a lockdown defender.

This..... exactly...... and NOT just a generic Robin or some Jason Todd/Tim Drake shyt.....

Naw....... This nicca Pippen was fukking NIGHTWING!!!!

These kids gotta chill with they disrespect:snoop:

This thread got me wondering if some of you nikkas actually saw Pippen play live
We did. It seems you're blinded by 90's nostalgia. Kawhi Leonard is objectively a better scorer right now than Pippen ever was. There is nothing Pippen could do scoring-wise that Kawhi couldn't do. Kawhi is more lethal from more areas of the court, is more efficient, and is a much better shooter and has an elite 3-ball, something Pippen never had.

Pippen's best season he averaged 22 in 38 minutes and shot 49.1%. He shot 32% from 3 and only 66% from the line.

Compare that to Kawhi this year who averaged only 0.8 less points despite playing over 5 less minutes per game, and shot 50.6%, 44% from 3 and 87% from the line.

His per 36 minutes this year is 23 ppg compared to 20.7 for Pippen in 94.

Kawhi wouldn't be guard 4s in the 1990s. No way he's guarding Karl Malone.

It's a different game. If Kawhi was playing with Jordan he wouldn't be the same player.

I mean dude could literally score on an elite level, play defense on an elite level, threat from 3, good free throw shooter, good rebounder, great passer, high basketball IQ. What am I missing? Was there any weaknesses there?

He needed to be more aggressive and look to score

He wasn't a great leader

And his 3- point range was suspect

But I mostly agree. :ld:
