I agree same situation. Beating shouldn't be an option and physical discipline should be the last option. The key here is that fathers need to be creative in meting out discipline, And it should be done in a way that prepares the child for everything out in the world.

I always think about the situation in this video when it comes to my daughters. Especially when mouthing off is the biggest issue that we have. It's better for me to teach them to learn to shut their mouth and walk away rather than get out in the "real world" and get taught this way.

Your not reading clearly breh. Don't be defensive, spanking is beating, you can still get your child taken away for it. It's unfair but it is what it is.

What do I know but that video right there looks like a teachable moment. I would have spanked her on her butt because she jumped kicked and screamed before trying all options.

Her frustration level seemed extremely low. Her breaking shyt when she didn't get what she wanted it is a tell tale sign (to me) that her behaviors have been given no boundaries.

Consequences when she grows up will be ten times worse if she doesn't learn the importance of listening at a young age. Get it out the way when they're fairly young (before 5) and from there you should be able to govern with the threat of fear rather than actual fear or physical punishment. Basically let them know that the parent's word is not to be fukked with at an age that's before they can learn to think that violence is possibly a viable solution to problems. This worked great for me at least, ymmv.

If you have to beat a child at such a young age, then it's the parents fault. A child is gonna child, it's up to the parents to nip certain behaviors in the bud and be CONSISTENT in doing so. Use tactical ways to change behaviors, you're supposed to be smarter than them. Remember, they've only been on earth for a couple of years and you've been here much longer.
