The Deep State
To be honest black people are not on the radar of the visible far-right. They're currently more concerned with European migrants and Muslims. However, this may be purely opportunistic and a way for them to gain legitimacy by latching on to concerns over immigration (the current face of which are Muslims and Euros). The far-right does have history of attacking both Asians (Pakistanis, Indians) and black people without discriminating between them.

But we must distinguish the far-right from populism. Neo-nazi views have always been and are very fringe...most people were horrified by any overt references to fascism because of this country's history.

We are in unchartered territory now though :mjpls:
You ain't really answer me though...is it CULTURE, which I can totally understand or race, which is just flat out hatred.

I mean, I'm the first to say muslims are TERRIBLE at integrating. Outright terrible.

I was reading articles with people talking about how the leaders are out of touch and the jobs left etc. The funny part about that is when Thatcher was talking about ending subsidies of inefficient industries, privatizing BP, selling council houses and increasing the influence of banks and services she was wiping the floor with the electorate. Now that jobs are gone the "globalists" are the ones responsible because some immigrant from a poorer European country migrated there. The US/UK model of the 80s deliberately set in motion the type of service based economy that is biased towards more college educated people than intermediate skills used in manufacturing. There are also areas that rely a lot on EU funding that voted to leave. It's like those voters in Kentucky that rely on Medicaid that voted for Matt Bevin regretting their decision after he won.

It all comes down to xenophobia at the end of the day. I don't think slot of these people give two shyts about the issues. It's about pointing the finger at the "other" and passing off blame. This brings them more relief than actually solving the problems in their own lives.

We need to find a way to neutralize the influence of the hillbilly types or they will drag us down with their stupidity and spitefullness.

But they won't be able to join the EU anyway. So they will just stay in GB. It's still better than being alone.

Europe will want to make an example out of England & Wales for leaving so no other country attempts this. Scotland is almost certainly leaving and joining the EU:francis:

Markets will correct and adjust itself in the next few days. Don't let the media scare you niccas.

Yup, britains not turning into medieval China.

Oh ok, wasn't sure if you were referring to something more recent.

Cameron hasn't done anything to establish confidence back in Parliament though. His legacy revolves around internal conflict.

Cameron gambled he could hold leave voters in his coalition in 2015 and still remain after today, big loss for him ideologically and obviously politically.

Blair might have supported the invasion but he was powerless to stop it. Europe would have had this immigrant problem whether or not they supported the war.

Blair's full throated support destroyed the legitimacy of political leaders in Britain tho. 08 obviously is a huge catalyst as well.

If you’re young and angry about the EU referendum, you’re right to be | Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett

“I’m so angry,” wrote one Twitter user. “A generation given everything: free education, golden pensions, social mobility, have voted to strip my generation’s future.” Another statement, from a commenter on the Financial Times website that has been widely shared, summed up the sense of furious betrayal among the young: “The younger generation has lost the right to live and work in 27 other countries. We will never know the full extent of lost opportunities, friendships, marriages and experiences we will be denied. Freedom of movement was taken away by our parents, uncles and grandparents in a parting blow to a generation that was already drowning in the debts of its predecessors.”

:wow: :mjcry:
