Simple fact is this is a business. And a for profit business is going to cater to its audience, which has historically been cacs. Until we support in huge numbers the will continue to ignore us as far as having a black man as the face. Latinos was watching SD heavy in the 2000s and they got Eddie, Rey, etc.
It's athletics, and theater, and in both of those you can absolutely get black people over as antagonists and protagonists, and have since the beginning of both.

True. But its so few in the business just like the audience. So the room for error is so high. The only two guys I could see being WC material was Ahmed and Bobby. Both flamed out(or in Bobby case just left)

What do y'all think of Apollo crews? personally I think the raw athleticism is there but the promos not yet
Promos definitely aren't there. Some of that shyt was so bad I don't know if he'll ever get there. He does amazing things in the ring but he's floundering like Neville before the heel turn. He either needs to go on a winning streak killing dudes in seconds or add something to his persona to make him stand out.
