You know I started typing a response on what they should do to be successful but i deleted it and realized they're the Browns it doesn't matter who they take they'll still suck
With this situation,....
At least they gambled for the reward with Barkley.
That either is immediate or a bust in one year.
With a QB, you get stuck in this whole can he do this in year one and look like this come year three.
With Barkley you know hey, this once in a lifetime back if he just so happens to fail is one year setback with a draft pick filled with utility around making him good and he failed.
So now all you need is a QB, rb and more defense based assets.
Which can be acquired and worked up for the cheap.
If you draft a QB.
That is five years if retooling to get it right and you will never see another back via pedigree that high in the draft again.
Or at least know to wait and see on a high draft pick that is a rb by an actual real can't miss attempt with Barkley and only lose a year. Incomparison to five years trying to draft a QB in this class with a number one pick.
