He did try something different. He got Tom Brady with the most Passing Attempts in history. What did you want him to do? Run the ball even less?

The offense had success with Rachaad in the game running the ball, but Fat Lenny found his way onto the field running into the line and defenders. The offense also had success running the no huddle. I'm not saying Byron is completely at fault. He's not. I'm just saying he wasn't as helpless as y'all make him out to be.

You gotta commit to running the ball even when you get stuffed. They probably played Fournette more because he was probably better at pass protection which alot of young RBs are not good at. I think Brady is more comfortable with Fournette because of the SB season. Last thing the Bucs wanted was some young back in there missing a block and getting Brady killed.

Things just fell apart man football is cruel sometimes

Rachaad was better at literally everything compared to Fournette this season. That's why he ended up taking over the starting job late in the season. Fat Lenny legitimately has an ego problem. He is on record saying he asked Bruce Arians to cut him in 2020 because Ronald Jones was the starter & getting a majority of the carries (and outplaying Lenny). Arians refused to cut him, RoJo got hurt & Lenny had that playoff run that inflated his ego even more. Anyway, that's getting off topic. I wouldn't be surprised if Leftwich kept playing Fat Lenny just to appease him :hubie:

100% should go to the Chargers.

Chargers need a running game which Leftwich knows how to implement an effective one and would have some WRs that don't drop passes.

Problem is any OC who has moderate success on that team is most likely going to flip it into a HC position. They really needed to get rid of Staley.

Damn he was on track to become a head coach. Now that's out the window, it's gonna be a long climb back to that level for him. Brothers don't ever really "fail up" like the white boys can.
Hope Doug Peterson brings him to Jacksonville and take him under his wing. Let him learn under him a couple years.

I can't take that cac Klan Orlovskkky seriously. He already exposed himself with Justin Fields

He's kiling Byron's play calling after caping for Mike McDaniel just two days earlier saying play calling is hard

fukk him
I do agree that the Bucs could be more creative but at the same time, all of his offenses put up points until this year. This dude just said Staley shouldn’t be fired but is going this hard on Byron. He’s doing too much.

I agree...

I thought they should've fired Staley and hired Sean Payton and paired him with Herbert but the Chargers are cheap.

I knew they wouldn't do it because they never make big swings they're not serious about winning

Bruce Arians was reportedly coming in and red inking whatever game plan Leftwich and Brady came up with in 2020/2021. Arians wasn't in the building this past season.

And people complained about the offense even then so it’s not like it was super creative. They just had a better offensive line and running game.

Byron Leftwich was a victim of Todd Bowles just not being a good coach and Tom Brady overestimating his skills as a 45 year old QB.

He'll probably end up In Pittsburgh Tomlin will give him a special assistant title. Matt Canada is on thin ice anyway...

I'll take anybody over Canada, he's an amateur...the highest level he should be coaching is high school

Well, we're about to see what time it is in the NFL (as if we haven't been shown many times before) with Leftwich

Byron got fired for leading one of the worst offenses in the NFL but Mike Lafleur and Nathaniel Hackett led even worse offense and immediately got hired to new OC jobs. So let's see how long Leftwich takes to get another job. He has interviewed for the Ravens job
