Never really made sense for New Orleans in particular to reject that deal because of the extra year tbh ...they probably were just trying to play hardball and force the bulls into giving more ...it’s not like Niko is getting 20+ million or something crazy ....12.5 million is pretty decent for a guy putting up those kinds of numbers and the Pelicans are going to need him next season waiting for Boogie to come back
