Moving Simmons to PF is a bandaid imo

Totally agree. I’ve seen enough from Simmons that moving him off ball will accomplish nothing. He won’t/can’t shoot. Too soft around the rim. He can’t even take advantage of the small guards they put on him now. He would be in Hortford spot which now even tho AH is sucking at least he shooting the ball. I don’t see Ben shooting at all.

At this point. BB gotta go. His lack of discipline for Ben Joel, and silly TOs Is killing the team. Only way this current team wins is if Ben shoots and plays like an actual Star. BB won’t make him so.... he gotta go. The offense has not evolved in fukking 4years. This dude is straight lost with no JJ reddikk. JJ fukkin Reddikk is the piece to make our offense look like an actual NBA team. Smh. Our sets and plays are so fukkin ugly. I legit can’t tells what’s a play or a scramble play. Out of timeouts TO... he gotta go. #endrant

Correction not 4yrs 7 yrs. He’s run the same offense since the tank. Remember when we have nothing but scrubs he said he could only run “chocolate and vanilla packages because of the talent”. Well we have more talent and we run the same plays.

crazy part is the offense LOOKED more efficient back then. It ran smoother. The offense now is just plain ugly.

Part of that is on Ben because MCW nor Ish refused to shoot or pick up their dribble every other play. The rest is on Brett Noel also would streak to the basket for dunks or put backs. He uses Embiid on the perimeter. Plus the offense was consistently in motion now dudes just stand around and jack 3s. I think JJ gave Brett the false notion that we need look to shoot every possession.

The best our offense looked in Bretts tenure was Embiid/Saric rookie year. Lots of ball movement and good open shots, but we only won 28 games.
We also got worse when Lloyd Pierce left the coaching staff.

At key moments during this game he pulled Trey and Embiid when they were cooking :snoop: Embiid sat until the last 3 mins of the 4th he should have been brought in much sooner :snoop: ..... it literally took this long for him to play Trey over Neto :scust: Brett is hindering this team more than any player you want to complain about.

Still can’t close games... damn shame
No reason for us to lose this one
No reason.....

I can think of one. This guy calls a timeout and doesn’t put in Korkmaz to take the 3 (which we didn’t need). But had Tobias who struggled all game take the last shot :snoop:

We shouldn’t been in that position in the first place.
Up 5 with less than a min left.
Good teams close that out...

Exactly and for 3 seasons with a great roster we still struggle to close out games and turn the ball over. That is on Brett
And our best player, Joel freezing up in pressure situations.
Up 1 with 25 secs, and a full shot clock.
All we have to do is not turn it over.
He had Tobias right next to him before the double team came, and he didn’t pass... boom turnover
:snoop:

I mean he did blow a wide open dunk I can understand his hesitation. That last few mins of the 4th was complete garbage
