The way Ye does "New Slaves" and hell...most of Yeezus is an example of this.

That verse is cold. as. FU¢K!

The execution on it is just raw. Its not beating you over the head with the topic....it forces you to know what the DEA is. It forces you to know what the CCA is. It forces you to infer why they'd be in the Hamptons.

Its sheer skill.

Kendrick would would probably just SAY all this shyt cause he doesn't know how to write better.

Its a single bar in the song. And drake barely does that shyt so you can tell he was irked by it.


Theres a style component you all who are opposing me seem to be severely lacking. Swagger is just as important to the verse as the lyrics themselves.

Execution is the key ingredient.

Theres a difference between reading the verse and hearing it.

This is music we're talking about

You can read a Pac verse and still not understand the complete musical picture.
