Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Team USA is the only team I root for, these genetic marvels (And Kevin Love) out there playing for free :wow:

And I'm not actually rooting for the US, just my brothers on that team. It's not going to happen but I'd love to see Team USA vs Nigeria in the gold medal game, just pure blackness (and Kevin Love) out there on display.

I Take Pride In My City And Where Im From :manny:

If They Moved The Knicks To Montana Tomorrow I Wouldn't Be A Knicks Fan, So It's Not About Some White Guy In A Suit And An Organization To Me

It's Also Not About Some Player I Look Up To

I Stopped Looking Up To And Worshiping Men When I Became A Man Myself

That's Just Me Thou...

when you go to the store are you loyal to products or do you pick the best quality?

sports is no different IMO

consumers should have no loyalty

Consumer loyalty is a critical part of marketing and economics.

and when you go to the store, do you tend to prefer certain products over the others? If you don't, you're lying.

These leagues don't care about the fans, why do you think they move teams from city to city because it's based on a franchise model. Wherever the $$$$$$$ is what's important to the league. The whole notion of supporting your hometown team is just to get loyalty from the consumer. Teams don't even have to improve because they know their fans are going to stay loyal and committed..there's no incentive to get better.

Breaking news: the players don't care about you either. It's why when an NBA player paints a school for an NBA Cares ad, it looks so damn fugazi. This is true in nearly any and every endeavor in which you have a rooting or financial interest, from sports to Wall Street to religion.

im still waiting for someone to explain why blacks should ignore the injustices committed by these teams and still pledge their loyalty to them.

Do you ignore the injustices your city, school, job, significant other, or even family has committed towards you? Or is that different?

Knowing every little thing about your team is what makes it fun being a fan of a franchise. The names on the back of the jersey always changes but never the name on the front. This is more evident in College where there's so much pride in one's university. I know everyone is a fan of players on different teams, but it's not like on some I'm going to follow him around for his rest of his career type of thing. Where the fukk would the world be without loyalty?

no doubt

I prefer quality products over inferior ones

just the way I love my sports...I like winning teams over losing ones

A. Our grandparents were teenagers and the NBA still wasn't allowing blacks to play or come inside stadiums.

B. The league is 80% black, but black folks only make up around 10% of the executive positions

Why is it a problem if we're loyal to players over teams that don't necessarily represent our interests?

Why should you have to place your faith in this guy?

so the league and owners can pick up and leave if tax payers don't want to fund their multi million dollar stadiums.....so players can pick up and leave in order to fulfill their ambitions.....but fans are the only ones that are forced to stick it out?

if it's about loyalty, let's demand that for owners, players and everyone else

it seems like we the fans (aka consumers, customers) are the ones that are expected to not have options

Consumers don't have options in America? :what:

You seem not to understand that the team represents the people of that city. That is why people go as hard as they do.

no problem with loyalty

but loyalty is a two-way street

loyalty needs to be reciprocated

fans are loyal and all they get in return is relocated teams, owners not improving their rosters, high ticket prices, threats to pack up and leave if the city and sometimes state don't pay for stadiums and arenas

what has the fan gotten in return for their loyalty?
