McNabb triggered this with his "We don't need him" comments before the Super BowlThough his antics and celebrations rubbed people the wrong way, it always felt to me that like the biggest knock against him came from the whole Eagles saga.
While heroic in his coming back from injury to dominate in the Super Bowl, he left a bad taste in everyone's mouth by bringing up that he "wasn't the one that got tired in the Super Bowl" in reference to McNabb.
He also threw McNabb under the bus around that time by saying he thought the team would be better off with Brett Favre at QB. Back when he implies that Garcia was gay, he also kind of threw him under the bus in favor for the back-up....so the trend of calling your team "leader/face" out in the media made him stand out on the diva tip.
Didn't the whole driveway thing happen because he wanted to renegotiate his contract while he was only 2 years into it?
Didn’t kiss the media’s ass

All of this is facts. And he straight up called Garcia a "fakkit" iirc
T.O. is one of the goats but the fact that the Eagles chose to pay him to NOT play kind of says it all.
He also left every single team on bad terms. The NFL is a shytty organization for sure but to leave 5 different teams on bad terms is a bad look on him.
In 3 yrs change the thread title to Dez
He was an intelligent, proud black man that let his nuts hang. The only people that really got a problem with TO and never met him are cacs and c00ns.
- started a mutiny in the Eagles locker room because he wasn't happy with a contract he signed 12 months earlier and wanted the franchise QB to back his protest
- weekly arguments and tantrums on the sidelines with Steve Mariucci
- basically called Jeff Garcia gay and went out of his way to praise Tim Rattay and insinuate the offense would be better with him starting
- accused Romo and Witten of drawing up plays and purposely excluding him from the offense
He's a HOF receiver and none of those things should've denied him from going 1st ballot, but acting like he never did anything to create his reputation is revisionist history.
