Yeah they were always vague about where Cliff and Claire came from.

Swear they said Philly, Virginia and North Carolina at different times.

Think Hillman was in Virginia so that's where the VA references came from. They talked about Claire Hanks dating Cliff Huxtable in high school but I don't ever remember Claire saying SHE came from Philly. Her whole vibe seemed southern-ish. Think Cliff and Claire's parents were from the South maybe?

I feel like they flat out said it was Philly. I could be wrong...may just be mixing real life with the character. He did root for Temple and the Eagles from NY though.

Watching the Cosby Show in the 80s made me a fan of sub sandwiches. Every time he would make one it looked so delicious. I keep ingredients for a good sub at all times. I even attempted to make a "burger-bacon dog" before, but it didn't hit like I wanted it to because I think I had the wrong bread.
