Jameis hasnt regressed, he always beasts second half of the season. and he will continue to to shyt on the shytbirds

With comments like this I'm convinced most of y'all haven't actually seen him play

Halfway through the season Jameis is

28th in completion percentage
16th in yards
3rd most INTs in the league
25th in rating

He's a mediocre QB...it is what it is

He'll be okay but I'm not gone lie, I expected him to take a big step in year 2
Has nobody ever heard of the sophomore slump? Almost every QB takes a side step or a step back in year 2. I don't see how this is suddenly an issue when it wasn't worse for guys like Cam and every other QB who took a slight step back their 2nd starting year. Defenses study film and adjust. Year 3 and on is his adjustments to his struggles to defensive schemes.

If I'm gonna be honest I almost never judge a qb's future potential by his 2nd year stats

Sounds like Donovan McNabb
I enjoyed watching Donovan when I used to live in South Jersey/work in Philly and he probably is the Eagles best all time qb... but man did he love throwing to wide open ankles.

The lack of knowledge in this thread astounds me. Jameis ain't a dink and dump QB. He's throwing down field. Imagine a 22 year old Roethlesberger throwing to one receiver. He's gonna be inconsistent. He's not gonna be a consistent 300 yards and 2-3 TDs every game throwing down field to Evans and a bunch of dudes from the Brett Favre wranglers mud football commercial.

If y'all wanna decide whether he's a bust or a HOFer after every game, that's cool, but I'll judge on a bigger sample size. He already had one of the GOAT rookie seasons and his numbers will probably be better this year. So y'all keep overreacting to a single game sample size.
:russ:

Well played.

If they get Jameis some playmakers around him he will start to live up to the hype. All the tools and talent is there for him to succeed. He's not a potential Jamarcus Russell or anything but the Bucs do need to upgrade the offensive talent around him.
They could've spent that 2nd on a receiver rather than a kicker.

As far as managing the game, accuracy, overall feel for the pro game Matt was/is light years ahead of where Jameis is in year 2. And he was taking a team post Vick to back to back winning seasons for the first time in franchise history. Jameis has gotten alotta empty yards playing from behind. He's just an average QB :yeshrug:

Jameis is a mediocre QB. Ask actual Bucs fans, his play AT BEST has been decent. Y'all wanna throw the black QB card out, judge Jameis on his play individually. He's been mediocre...decision making, accuracy, game management, he's just an average QB. Could he use better coaching/talent? Sure. But so could every other QB in the league
:mjlol:

Jameis has 36 tds passing tds (43 total) through 23 games.

Ryan had 38 tds (40 total) through 30 games.

Also Matt's completion % was very similar so you're really making shyt up :camby:

Matt didn't become deadly accurate till he turned 27. I forgot you're not the most unbiased Falcons breh :hubie:

Matt WAS a game manager those first two years. He was allowed to be such.

If you said you thought Ryan was better...cool. To say its not close :mjlol:

Ryan will always be overrated. ATL definitely head more talent than Tampa during his first 2 seasons also.

Winston will way better by the time he is 27.

The right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way
He needs to get the fukk outta Tampa Bay.
Agree with you 100 percent bruh. Maybe it's just bad drafting or something but it seems to be a lack of talent around a lot of these black QB's. Only Luck can compare with the lack of talent around him on his squad.

Last time I saw a black qb with weapons was Hon. Colin Shabazz Muhammad from 2012-2014 and that's only because he took over from Alex Smith.

So again, what I said was right. Matt's accuracy, feel for the game and overall game management is better than Jameis

Matt Ryan
1st yr: 87.7 rating, 61%
2nd yr: 80.9 rating, 58%

25 total INTs in two seasons (30 games)

Jameis Winston

1st yr: 59%, 84 rating
2nd yr: 58%, 82 rating

23 total INTs in 23 total games

Jameis is less accurate, has a worse rating and more turnover prone through less games than Matt was. My bigger point, which you intentionally seemed to miss, is that your guy is an average QB. You can blame everyone else all you want but look at his stats and look at him play...he's average

Matt's overrated now? :dahell:

He's always been a top 10 level QB...last year he fell off slightly but he's back where he needs to be

:mjlol: at the Falcons having more talent during Matt's two years than Jameis. Y'all excuse making and straight up lying is elite

Breh you said Ryan was LIGHT YEARS better in those areas and the stats prove otherwise. You were wrong :pachaha:

Ryan was game managing, Winston is asked to be a playmaker/gunslinger. And yet he's still as efficient.

Also advanced statistics say Winston is playing better than Ryan his 2nd year (ESPN Total QBR/PFF)

When the Falcons lose to an average QB for the 4th straight time on Thursday

Matt has less turnovers, a higher completion percentage and a better rating than Jameis. Those are FACTS. Jameis can't be as efficient with worse stats and more turnovers

:mjlol: at you frantically searching the internet to find a stat to support your nonsense. FOH
