Can we talk about why the black family is still broken? Crack happened in the 80s and its 2018 now.

Note the “ “. It’s something I’ve seen articles on in regards to dating sites. and heard Black women complain to me about.

I don't live in America but it looks like every family there(of all races) is broken, save for recent immigrant and/or muslim families

No race man is more desirable than any race women, anyone in real life knows this.
Looking at dating stats black men are second to last in men and black women are last for women, what people choose to ignore is that black women get more responses than "the most desirable race of man", JS.

Hell
Matriarchy

Once you understand that you'll understand everything.

Crime and disrespect and how single parent homes caused all these issues.

The Land That Time Forgot
It won't change anytime soon.

Too many folks believe that the single-mother-headed unit is now the preferred formation
of the black family, and it has been that way for several decades.

A family used to be considered "broken" when the father/husband or mother/wife abandoned
the family household.

Today, unmarried people have haphazard sexual relations, an unmarried female finds herself pregnant and
opts to bring the pregnancy to full term rather than terminate.

The larger question is how can a successful community be built on the premise of random sex and unorganized procreation?

The clear answer is that it cannot be successfully built under such conditions.

I was listening to a breakdown of the Moynihan report from 1965. The majority of reasons for the dysfunction in tge black community is explained in detail within that document.

The main issue is the declining presence of fathers in tge community. Its a must read for women and teenage men to properly prepare the next generation.

About 90 percent of the Moynihan Report was on point.

It warned about the loss of black fathers from the household and from the community 20 years before the onset of the Crack Era.

It’s too accepted. I’ve even seen other non black communities do this. There’s a (white) Puerto Rican lady I remember from back in the day who used to be real cool with my mom. All her kids have out of wedlock babies and she’s so proud of it.

They live under her roof except two are in prison (one did time with my brother) due for release soon and she seems broken. Slavery shifted to mass incarceration and split up families. That spilled over to Clinton’s welfare policies whereby those living in public housing that commit crimes are kicked out.
Out of wedlock kids are blessings from On High. Stop being blasphemous! :troll:

Based on what you see in our community, what's illogical about the current state of the black family, OP? You don't think black people are exempt from the spiritual law of reaping what they sow, do you? :jbhmm:

I don't think you understand the depth of that issue to talk.

I have a feeling OP has never seen the lengths people have gone to for crack, what that has done to families, the system used to bring it into black neighborhoods, or even a real life crackhead for that matter.

Those after effects don't just end in a generation, especially if kids are involved.

@drugsandlowkey now i'm talking to you

Updated my post just for you my G. Now I'm addressing you, because this is such a ridiculous question. I don't know if you're trolling or if you're asking a serious question.

Addiction is a disease that affects more than just the person using it. You ever have family members break into their relatives cribs to steal money or electronics to feed their addiction? You ever have relatives that got so fukking high out their mind they damn near burned their house down? You ever see the government come in and break up a family and put everyone in foster care because the parent was an addict and got thrown in jail.

I have. This is my family I'm speaking on. And my experience is not exclusive to just me. Those problems don't go away in 5-10, 20 years especially when you have parts of the government borderline sanctioning it.
