Black folks have been on the forefront of every progressive movement this country has ever had; even the gay shyt. We arguably brought this nation closer to its Promise than any individual ethnic group to date.... Social conservativism seeks to maintain the status quo. The status quo has been the enemy of Black Americans for over 300 years.

The groups that have been on the forefront don’t represent the mindset of the community. After civil rights was passed we blindly voted for anything the democrats told us

Conservatism means you would be a proponent taking America back to what it was "before"

conservatism is supposed to be an anchor to reality of liberalism

liberalism to its logical conclusion is a utopia
conservatism to its logical conclusion is a dystopia

both are mean to work in tandem to create a balance. if liberals want to propose universal healthcare, conservatives challenge them on how it's supposed to work and who pays. they both work together to create a solution that works for their constituents.

obviously that isnt the case in america anymore. but it was for a long time

My only issue with him is that none of the bussines apparatuses he built in the late 80s and early 90s exist today. If only he had more time, or at least an ideological successor.

It isn't too late to buy thee right or name of the business. BROTHER sABU WAS LOOKING AFTER IT BUT IT'S BEEN A FEW YEARS SINCE I've SPOKEN to him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's with the Ancestors now. There's a reason why he's not popular on this site: too intellectual, not sensational or bombastic enough, dry, 2-3 maybe 4 hour speeches. Whether this true or not doesn't change the fact Blacks have rarely sided with social conservativism. If anything, Black Social Conservativism is a recent phenomenon because cacs can't openly oppress us anymore.

Not for lack of trying though. From its inception, SC was/is very anti-Black. Its takes a certain type of negro to ignore that "good ol day" rhetoric knowing cacs were talking about a time when your grandma was picking lavender and tobacco.
