Wasn't Malcolm X exactly that? I mean, he did support Barry Goldwater
Based on this convo in another thread.
Does being conservative align you to close with Republican’s?
Well first can you define what does it mean to be pro-black in a political sense. This"Conservative" and "Liberal" became slurs at some point, and have been painted with definitions other than what they mean.
I literally just watched this the other day. It's about 9 minutes and focuses on multiple groups of people, but a black woman in one pairing named Anita shocked me. She claims to be republican but is pro reparations. She also is pro choice.
I timestamped it but you have to watch entire thing to see her talk about other stuff.
that no different than other ethnic minority groups that have right wing people
in them but they still make sure to fight for government resources for their people you know like the tribe
White liberals never told blacks it was not cool to be a conservative. For the longest blacks were scared to say they were Republicans because what others would think. Still, I would say the majority of blacks are actually old school conservative. They just don't identify to what it has become today which is a white christian nationalist. Are you going to rebuttal or continue dap fishing?
Yeah basicallyConservativism for black people just means being religious. Occasionally, it can be tied to tax avoidance.
It's not the same thing as white conservativism which is a movement to fix things in America the way the way they were in in 1865.![]()
