Youre right. from the 40-60s when the remaining little islands gained independence from under colonial rule it wouldve been the perfect time.
But also the riskiest time. That would be damn near economic suicide for all these new black nations that were barely a decade old. Even now there really exists no leverage from any african diaspora or from the motherland to even begin to apply pressure.
But like @SonofaGod said, its good to at least open the dialogue, it puts it in the worldwide consciousness and you never know if it may gain momentum.
The jewish situation cannot be compared, they had men in high places to make things happen. Even by modern standards we are still the worlds peasants, so your only option is to band together and elicit action. so they do it
