In this, Haiti should be chief demander

Because not only was slavery in Hispanola among the most brutal, but after they won their independence France demanded a repayment of 150 million francs, over 21 billion modern dollars for repayment of "lost property":stopitslime:

A debt recognized by the cac world at large that crippled Haiti's economy from its inception and wasn't fully paid (by further loans) until 1947.

They agreed to it cause the cac world at large refused to recognize them as a free nation and isolated them in an effort to suffocate them. If that is not one of the most malicious crimes done to a black people, show me Satan himself.

But we all know these cac nations ain't gonna have this. They'll probably try to ignore it hoping it'll go away just like every other atrocity they're done to mankind:sitdown:

Haiti can demand it from both the French and the Spanish
We should also go after the United States for their invasion in the early 1900's :birdman:

Sound Reasoning
:salute:

I applaud this group for even taking it to this level of getting together, making a plan, releasing statements and moving forward with a real agenda. Regardless of whether or not they get what they want or even the apology, I think it says something very important:

We don't forget what you did. We acknowledge what you did. And we want compensation for our loss.

On a cultural level, I think black people across the diaspora should support this...even if you're skeptical of how far it would go. In this case, I see some proactivity towards an over-arching issue instead of reactivity towards individual occurances. That's a great thing.

Also, I really like the re-patriation portion regarding citizenship in African countries. I think that is truly a great idea.

I know this is being headed by coalition of statesmen, but I wish there was a way to donate to the cause. Is there a way to put some money toward this :lupe:?

Peace

I ALWAYS SAY THIS to everyone.

And man, I get angry with this shyt. You remember the earthquake in there few years ago? The government from here where I live sent soldiers to there to help and all.

Basically the majority of people didn't know where the f Haiti was. And when they saw how poor the country was in the media. I heard a lot of cacs saying shyt like "well, it's a country ruled by blacks, of course it would be the most miserable in the Americas".

:snoop: ....:birdman::demonic:

They fukk up a whole ethinic group basically. And then, say that they are miserable because of themselves.

Its crazy breh the world looks at africans and the diaspora as the butt of all races and when you look and see why every black nation is the way it is today, you see who had a major hand in that.

And they made sure to make an example of Haiti, where mere slaves fought for their independence and won it against the most powerful nation at the time, taking from them their most profitable colony.

They united to condemn the black race. And it makes me legit angry that as of today they got away with their crimes.

But the pendulum does swing and when the diaspora realizes that Unity makes Strength is when you can stand on a front and evoke justice.

What we need to do is shake loose that crab in a barrel, im not like them, we [insert nationality] are better than them mentality that poverty produces. And im happy that the original post is showing something of the like.

If you noticed ever since obama got elected racism been hitting twice as hard
its almost like having a black president changed nothing

they are using slavery and racist stereotypes as reminders to shut down any psychological progression
to keep you in a state of inferiority , whilst they ignore progression thats infront our face
and they got a niga who played a slave in the movie to head this fukkery haha
its funny but sad how easily blacks are manipulated
mental slavery people

I've said it before.

I'll say it again.

Obama being President has made America (and quite possibly the world) more racist against black people. Or maybe more race conscious or too race conscious. Hence why I think there are some white people/non-black people (or most) that just can't handle it anymore.

And now with social media and the internet we can read and get a public perception of the world's animosity against black people so it kind of feels like racism has been hitting harder than before cause they've never had to confront any sort of reality involving race until now and it's more prevalent and stinging....

To the point where it seems absolute negativity involving black people is subconciously being promoted more and positivity/good news involving black people is being swept under the rug.

So much talk about Lupita winning an oscar but none about Steve McQueen being the first black person to win a Best Picture oscar. No discussions about how black graduation rates have been increasing and black on black crime has been decreasing. I see the agenda and it ain't slick at all. The powers that be know that it's probably in their best interests to keep black people in a state of confusion but so many of us are doing the work for them and don't even know it.

Exactly, what I mean after "ain't shyt" laid down the groundwork for y'all to come over and live. Where were you guys at in the 1920-1960s.

Here.

But then again, according to biased and manipulated history books, only black americans lived in America during that period you mentioned. Not even emphasizing or pointing light on the fact that there were small pockets of carribeans and africans in America.

Marcus Garvey was trying to bridge the gap between carribeans, africans, and african americans with pan-africanist philosophies and was eventually deported. If he wasn't, I truly believe that there would be more unity amongst black people worldwide and more communal wealth. It's not really detrimental to black people to continue to flourish with divisions amongst each other globally.

These...

To most white people on non-blacks to only black nations worth going in are ones where they just romp around and do dumb tourist shyt. I remember going to the Bahamas when I was younger with my family and I remember that we had some of them asking us if we worked at the resort.

they piss me off cause they don't own up to their crimes/injustices and get mad at the victims for being victims.

Extremely small pockets and Black Americans laid the foundation starting in the 1600s...
