To me personally, its only a classic because of numbers and hype. Quality wise no way is it a classic, Carter II is most definitely a classic and Tunes best album. I'd say Carter I is better than Carter III. What yall think?

The Carter 3 changed the aural landscape of rap and is pretty much a culmination of all the idiosyncrasies that wayne was working out prior to it's release. The album is a representation of a cultural shift and the birth of a movement really.. but when taken by itself, it's merely "good" not classic.
