I can't see how people call C3 a classic but not C2
I was a big Wayne fan back then and was super disappointed. shyt was borderline trash to me.

The funny thing is, anything you can say about "C3" (as far as popularity, sales, critical acclaim, "shifting the culture") can also be said about "Get Rich Or Die Trying"....and hardly anybody would agree that's a classic. It's just that even though Wayne and 50 are both washed, Wayne is still trendy enough for this to be a topic of discussion.
But yeah....cats got caught up in the hype. I remember Rosenberg called it a classic before it was even out, while it was still in the plastic wrapper.

GRODT is an undeniable classic. That album littetaly sold out the stores you couldn't even find it on the shelf after 4 or 5 pm

yes, breh. trilla is quite easily a better album. tronic and the renaissance were better albums that yr too.
i bet u'd get more people to agree on grodt than c3. it has all those qualifying factors and its still great album.
