Mann get the FUKK no

Anybody that was in tune with Lil Wayne knows that album was a dissappointment.

Tha Carter Leaks > Tha Carter Album

To put C3 in the same group as Illmatic, 2001, Blueprint, BE, Late Registration, etc is just ridiculous

But being objective, Wayne DOES have material on that level like Tha Mobb being a top 3 intro OF ALL TIME

Classic.

CD had too much cultural relevance not to be one.

Carter 3 will be cited as the stylistic precursor to people like Carti, Thug, Yachty, Uzi, etc

Nope that goes to

How?

Stillmatic Intro
Be Intro
Dynasty Intro

I fukk with Tha Carter II, it's clearly his best album
But let's not do this breh..

Im not gon lie I forgot about the Be intro I aint even mad at that... But I still gotta give Wayne the conviction he was spitting like his life depended on it on C2 and the projects around that

That I TOTALLY agree with.

It's a big reason I was so disappointed in Tha Carter III...

Breh was spitting nothing but FIRE from the Sqad Up mixtapes up until he reached his peak in that Carter II timeframe and didn't deliver with C3

Overrated as fukk and it sounds dated as hell now.

This... just because it was his most successful album and Wayne was the hottest and most popular doesnt make C3 good.. it was average at best.

It does not sound good at all.. and if many of his fans go back and listen to it they'll realize that shyt

I don't think too highly of Wayne, but the impact of C3 when it dropped can't be denied. I remember "A Milli" dropping and it felt like the twilight zone because it was like everyone was convinced that Wayne was spittin' some of the greatest words ever recorded. There were songs like "Mr. Carter" and "Dr. Carter". "A Milli" had everybody trying to make their own versions. Wayne was already huge, but this put him into another plateau. After Wayne dropped the album, you had Kanye out here rappin in Autotune.
