He said they were clocking 8 hours a day but only really working 2 hours a day

And you believe that clown? Just a Google search on this guy brings up all kinds of scumbag shyt.

I wouldn't trust anything that comes out of the mouth of a Corporate Executive. As many employees as they screw over. Plus I know people who work at that company and dude is definitely lying.

So guys, we're saying its a shytty thing to do before the holidays, like firing nikkaz in January would make a diffrence. As CEO, how would you have laid off people humanely, knowing that the company is in the red with money because its been discovered that hundreds of employees have been stealing time and being unproductive, assuming this is true? And the fact that the company is in the red reflects directly on you as CEO of said company.

I mean...is this really any worse than an in-person termination?

In-person (whether group or 1 on 1) layoffs consist of the same canned, sanitized message from an HR representative and then you're quickly marched out of the building and told they'll mail you your personal items

I'm not sure exactly what these people do but you are right, just being on call for 8 hours like doctors is what most of us do in the corporate jobs especially now that we are at home.
There are days where I'm in a Teams call for 5 hours but most of my days are maybe 2-3 hours of meetings and spend the rest of it monitoring emails while checking the Coli (like I'm doing now):mjlol:
Yup, I work in the creative side of advertising and this is my day basically. Teams meetings, checking e-mails, and when somebody asks for something I get in gear. Otherwise I'm goofing off on the internet.

It’s not just qualifications breh. There are Plenty of unqualified CACs at my company. Completely incompetent and have no idea what they’re doing but they finessed their whiteness into their roles.

It really comes down to who you know.

That’s why I cringe when I hear some employees proudly state “I’ve never taken a sick day off work. I’ve never been late.” Ironically, those are the ones who rarely get promoted. They think giving their life to a company will be reciprocated. :mjlol:
100% facts right here.

This is part of the reason I want to see minimum wage jobs pay more. Imagine popping shyt about "flipping burgers" then you get fired via zoom from your "skilled position" and you need a job asap to keep the money flowing and you can't find another "skilled position" soon enough. :mjlol:

you never know when you're number is going to be called. :yeshrug:
