CTE
Specifically Charlotte

More beautiful downtown
Women have more class
Women are more down to earth
Less Gays/DL men
More professional opportunities in finance(not everyone can work for coke cola)
On the border of two states so you experience both cultures
Way less transplants women/people are actually from there
More young professionals
Hoods are less violent/prominent
Better food
Cheaper cost of living
Less HIV
Less Traffic

Atlanta's downtown is top 10 in the nation plus it technically has two
Charlotte is on the border of two states but it still has the feel of being the upcountry Carolina capital. I don't get the low country Carolina feel from it at all
Queen City has its fair share of crime and the food is DEFINITELY not better than Atl.

Crime in CLT gonna be way worse than crime in Atlanta in 20 years. All the brehs up there ain't eating. Whole lot of Black folks in West, NW and East CLT poor AF. And the city don't throw them nikkas no bones. Ain't no opportunities for people like that there. It's just not an issue now because they can just marginalize them and act like they don't exist because they don't go outside their boundaries. Once the light turns on them dudes heads and they start wanting to flex up and stunt it will be a problem. Once CLT figure out that they can just go to South Park or Myers Park and hit a lick/scam or stop shopping with NY dudes and go south to get cheaper numbers, the streets will be wild up there. I saw it when I was there. It's going to happen sooner than later too.

Harlem should be the Global HQ of Black Excellence yet there are consistent talks of blacks losing Harlem, lol def not the case for ATL/Metro ATL.

Actually that is the case, they were talking about the next mayor possibly being white because of black people being pushed out of the city limits.

Atlanta a top 10 global city? :pachaha:

@Poitier are you smoking wet? There's being a homer and there's being outlandish.

Most people moving south for work opps are going to Raleigh/Durham or Houston/Dallas. Then you got the white folks going down to Austin in droves. I almost never hear about Atlanta, ever, in terms of rapidly growing economies.
nikka STFU. Atlanta is Top 5 in fastest growing cities

Houston and Dallas added more people than any other U.S. city last year—close to 300,000 residents combined. Atlanta, Phoenix and New York City rounded out the top 5 in population increases, each adding close to 100,000 residents.

These Are America’s Fastest Growing Cities

Did you not see the graphic I posted from A.T. Kearney?

The whole state of GA, nevermind Atlanta, is shifting from red to blue just off the strength of migration....what are you talking about fam?
[/QUOTE]

That has nothing to do with economy though. Just means more liberals are moving down there.

I'll take a look again. But whenever I read about red hot economies in the US, its the usual list of Washington D.C., Raleigh/Durham, the big Texas cities. Atlanta is almost never mentioned.

Of course the ATL
I went to greensboro, saw a awful lot of trannys and i was in the hood most of the time:mindblown:

First time i ever been surrounded by a pack of trannys, first time i ever seen a big booty nikka wearing leggings:scust:

The women was fine as shyt though, but Carolina has its problems....if that shyt is goin on in the hood im pretty sure charlotte is worse....they gon have a whoooole lotta aids real soon:mjcry:

I went to school in Greensboro...sounds like you were on Lee St or on Battleground after dark :scust:

As for this thread I don't think this was a serious thread or even meant for serious responses. Charlotte is up and coming and has a lot of good things going for it, but I could make the case that it's not even the best city in its own state. It's nowhere near Atlanta despite how much people from North Carolina (especially Charlatans) try to make it seem otherwise. Just not even really a debate

Economies is measured lol. Fortune 500s and movie studios are flocking here so what you think is happening? And by liberal do you mean non-whites?

That doesn't mean it's a better city (in terms of job opps) than the cities I'm listing though. Find me any link that puts Atlanta as a top destination for job opps/money and I'll concede. From my research, it's always the SF area, New York, Washington, Raleigh, Houston, Dallas, Austin, even Denver and Minneapolis. I almost never see Atlanta at the top. People move to Atlanta moreso because they want to be in Atlanta, not because its the right move for them professionally speaking.

Of course the ATL
ATL nikkas still believe that Charlotte wants to be the next ATL :heh:

People here are now looking at Atlanta like :scust: when it comes to city development because we don't want to repeat the same mistakes they made

When I was in school in Greensboro everybody from Charlotte (brehs at UNCG and A&T) made it seem like Charlotte was lil Atlanta so I'm not sure where this whole "we don't want to be Atlanta" shyt is coming from. More Fortune 500 companies than Charlotte, better overall transportation, greater job market, comparable cost of living. And shyt as a black man born and raised in Atlanta...it ain't even a comparison

Because y'all nikkas talk about us all the time. No fukking lie, no exaggeration, I heard "this is lil ATL" at least a few times a week when I stayed up there. shyt used to irritate me to no end. Charlotte got its own thing going. Atlanta is totally different. They look the same a little and they both in the south. Culture is way different tho. And you'd be hard pressed to hear anyone in the A mention anything about Charlotte. We don't even don't think about y'all to even look down our noses

He's acting like we made up the "lil Atlanta" nickname on The Coli one day. And you hit the nail on the head...the culture is different, it was alotta country bum ass nikkas running around especially in areas where you'd expect not to run into them at i.e. nice restaurants (which some don't have dress codes :wtf:). CIAA weekend is like a bum nikka parade up there...nikkas in dikkies and Jordans lined up & down Tryon St :scust:

Depending on what you're looking for.

If you want a larger city with better public transportation and more restaurants/bars/nightlife then ATL.

If you're more lowkey and want less traffic, less pretentiousness, and just a more chill vibe, then Charlotte is it.

The baller/tricking/black hollywood culture in ATL is a turnoff to me, and so is the ridiculous traffic. Public transportation is ok, but the city is so spread out that you're gonna need a car or catch cabs/ubers.
These scammers out here fukking the game up in Atl. These hoes ain't as down to earth anymore
