Why havent I heard about this A's monthly pass?:whoo:

You can go to a day baseball game solo, drink some beer and not feel awkward about being there by yourself.

A's are waiting for the Dubs to move across the Bay Bridge to build their new stadium. Too bad it can't come any sooner.

Friday Night Summer games at The Coliseum are :ehh: though.

I was watching baseball highlights last night on ESPN and it looked like every home team's attendance on Monday were :trash:

Rays can't get/keep any big name talent to draw a fan base plus, they're all the way over in St. Pete.

The stadium is 30 minutes from downtown Tampa, and it's out of the way to get there during the work week unless you live in St. Pete.

The weekends aren't so bad, but then you're watching a baseball game in a dome? :what:

I grew up going to Braves games in Fulton County Stadium and Turner field, and there's just an essence to watching a ball game in an open air stadium.

The Dome sort of detracts from the whole experience of attending a baseball game live in person. :aicmon:

I've been to one Ray's game and it felt like I was watching a Japanese league game in that shytty ass dome. :mindblown:

To me it's just a matter of convenience.

Pay $7 for a beer, $4 for a hotdog, stay 3 hours to watch a 3-2 game, be surrounded by drunk cacs then fight traffic to get home....

Or

Stay home on your comfy ass recliner, eat affordable food and watch your boring ass, cac infested sport on your 70 inch tv.

I used to go to A's games all the time for $1. Unfortunately, ticket price has no effect on their attendance anymore. People just don't want to go there. They were loaded with stars in the late 80s and early 90s and had one of the nicest stadiums in the game but they've gone cheap while the other teams all upgraded. Money ball is a joke, they just aren't trying.
