To be fair, I’m not saying that a coach who prioritizes defense cannot help his quarterback or his offense. Especially if they have the right assistants and coordinators.
Many defense-minded coaches have had success (Belichick, Parcells, Dungy, to name a few)
It just seems to me that Chicago has had an offense problem for a very, very long time. I’m curious to see what the plan is here.
