Way too many things that got us here but in KS you can point to the states refusal to expand Medicare. Lawmakers will blame declining rural populations due to age and youngsters GTFO. That leads to staff shortages and margins because of no one can afford to pay. Tack on cuts to social programs and now you have facilities running at a deficit because they can’t recoup for their services so they just shut down shop. That’s the skinny but it’s a lot of shyt as to why.

And just like I figured, Kelly isn’t running for reelection. She don’t give a fck then. Plus she was known for settling with the state house more than being left of center or a progressive.

i don't know how a rural state could think it's a good idea to reject medicaid expansion. but then again the only media they get out there is rightwing talk radio. driving 80 miles for a doctor's appointment is the kind of bootstrapping real conservatives can get behind.

I really hated that shyt. And it was a deliberate plan by the Hunt family when they voted to move the rams. And it worked. All the chiefs game ended up being shown in the STL market. I think he was confused because of the proximity. Vancouver, WA is part of the Portland, OR metro, not Vancouver,BC.
